Whipsnade Zoo welcomes baby animals this spring UK News

It’s that time of year again when we see a flurry of adorable baby animals with cheeky names popping up.

Whipsnade Zoo, a favorite haunt for the county’s wildlife lovers, recently welcomed an array of newcomers, including a baby saki, a yak calf and a litter of woolly Mangalitsa piglets.

There’s also a still-unknown baby white-faced saki monkey, born to mum Kaituma and dad Milagre, as well as Joey the wallaby who spends much of his time comfortable in a pouch.

Check out some photos of the adorable new arrivals below.

Director of Animals Matt Webb said: “After such a difficult year, seeing the zoo filled with people, as well as new life, looks just like the doctor ordered.

“We look forward to safely welcoming many more visitors and members over the spring and summer, so it’s great that there will be brand new animals to discover when they return.”

Families and animal lovers can book tickets for the ZSL Whipsnade Zoo at www.zsl.org.
