Sheffield City Region Apprenticeship Award 2019.

Dale Robinson, Director of Business Development, said, “We urge businesses to support Kickstart. It helps unemployed youth gain confidence and skills, and their enthusiasm can stimulate the workforce to get back on its feet. “

“We can walk companies through the online application process or save them time by submitting their application – and our employability support package offers free accredited work courses for Kickstart recruits.

“This means employers can keep the £ 1,500 government grant they receive to help each recruit become more employable after their placement.”

The Source can also help companies access government funding to offer apprenticeships or internships to recruits they want to keep on board.


This program was designed to create high-quality 6-month internships for young people aged 16-24 who were claiming universal credit and were at risk of finding long-term employment.

The Kickstart Award seeks apprenticeship or employer nominations for anyone who has joined the Kickstart program since its inception.
