Teenager dies after stabbing in Montrose Park UK News

A teenager has died after being found stabbed in a park.

Metropolitan Police said officers were called at 5:54 p.m. on Monday in Montrose Park, near Burnt Oak, following reports of a group of men fighting.

Police found an 18-year-old stabbed wounded in the tennis court area.

He was treated by the Air Ambulance and the London Ambulance Service at the scene, but was pronounced dead at 7:19 p.m.

Police said last night (Monday) they were working to brief her next of kin, with formal identification and post-mortem examination to follow.

Seven men have been arrested on suspicion of offenses, including a fight and attempted murder, and are in police custody.

Officers are working to determine if there have been any other injuries and have urged members of the public in the area to return home.

Video taken in the busy park shows the helicopter landing on the ground near a police gang.

There were ambulances and police cars parked on Montrose Avenue near the zebra crossing.

The avenue Montrose remains this morning cordoned off by the police in both directions, near the park.
