Frankie Morris: Body found in search of missing teenager after rave in North Wales | UK News

A body was found during a month-long search for a missing teenager after going to a rave, police said.

Frantisek Morris, known as Frankie, was last seen walking at Pentir, near Bangor in Gwynedd, in the north Wales, around 1:20 p.m. on Sunday May 2.

The 18-year-old, from Llandegfan in Anglesey, was at a rave in Waunfawr, near Snowdonia National Park, the day before he went missing.

The police had called on everyone present at the party to come forward to help them with their investigations.

On Thursday afternoon, a body was found in a dense forest near Caerhun, on the outskirts of Bangor, a police spokesperson said.

No formal identification has yet taken place but the coroner has been informed.

Mr Morris’s family have also been notified and an autopsy is scheduled to take place on Friday.

His mother, Alice Morris, made a sincere appeal at the end of May to all who had seen her “stepson” come forward.

She said her disappearance was “totally irrelevant”.

Last month, detectives arrested a man suspected of causing death by dangerous driving, as well as a man and woman suspected of perverting the cause of justice.

They were then released and removed from the investigation.

Chief Detective Inspector Lee Boycott said: “Our sincere condolences go out to Frankie’s family and friends at this very difficult time.”
