A rapper has been charged with four drug-related offenses by the Metropolitan Police.
Courtney Freckleton, who goes by the name of “Nines” in her industry, was arrested following raids in Borehamwood and London.
Nines, 31, was arrested on Thursday (June 3) alongside Jason Thompson, 35, of Fordham Road, near New Barnet.
According to the Met, the two men were charged with conspiracy to import Class B drugs with the intent to escape a restriction between March 10 and July 3, conspiracy to supply cocaine, conspiracy to supply cannabis and conspiracy to conceal and remove criminal property.
They were due to appear in Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
Nines, from Harlesden in North West London, was nominated for five awards at last year’s MOBOS and has racked up millions of plays on music streaming platforms since his breakthrough in 2017.
