Teenager charged with murder after stabbing in Montrose Park UK News

Police charged a teenager with murder after a young man was stabbed to death in Montrose Park.

Nick Kaneza, 18, of Elstree Road, Hemel Hempstead, will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday, June 7.

He was charged in connection with the death of 22-year-old Al-Sadiq Mohamed Ishaq-Adam, who was stabbed on a public holiday on Monday.

Officers were called at 6:54 p.m. in Montrose Park near Burnt Oak following reports of a group of men fighting and found Al-Sadiq suffering from a stab wound.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, he was pronounced dead at 7:17 p.m.

An autopsy performed on June 3 at Northwick Park Hospital found the cause of death to be a stab wound to the chest.

The deceased was initially identified as Azadeeq Mohamed by those who knew him in London, but his close family abroad have confirmed that his full name is Al-Sadiq Mohamed Ishaq-Adam, born August 17, 1998.

Twelve men were arrested in connection with the incident on suspicion of offenses including fighting, theft and murder. Ten were released on bail pending further investigations.

  • Mohammed Yusuf, 18, of Capitol Way, NW9, appeared in Willesden Magistrates’ Court on June 4 for robbery. He was remanded in custody.
