Last chance to participate in Barnet Times’ search for the top 100 companies in the region UK News

THE Barnet Times has partnered with NatWest in a collaboration to find our top apprentices and the top 100 companies to drum up for business in the wake of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Executed by Time Publisher Newsquest Media Group in partnership with NatWest, this exciting initiative seeks to celebrate 100 companies across Essex, Sussex and London, which have “shown immense resilience during the pandemic”.

A panel of judges, with NatWest on board, will decide the top 100 companies in the region while the nominees will also receive coverage in The Times and its sister titles in the Newsquest Media group.

There are 12 categories that businesses can enter, including Small and Medium Business, Green Business, and Apprentice of the Year.

Other categories are customer orientation, companies with a turnover of £ 1 million to £ 5 million; company with a turnover of over £ 5 million; community orientation / non-profit / charity; contractor; innovation; exceptional contribution through Covid-19 and diversity and inclusion.

Sarah Bilby, Regional Managing Director of NatWest, said: “As Covid-19 restrictions ease and business activity increases, we would like to recognize businesses in the South East region that have demonstrated immense resilience throughout the pandemic – who embraced workplace change, shown great innovation and stood up for their customers and their community.

“We are delighted to partner with Newsquest Media Group to celebrate the region’s top 100 companies and give them the recognition they truly deserve.

Times Group Editor-in-Chief Victoria Birch said: “We know how brilliant our businesses are.

“The past year has had an unprecedented impact on all of our lives and businesses have had to adapt and weather the storm. We now want to honor our business community, by working with NatWest, and shine a light on these wonderful companies that make our cities thrill, employing several thousand people.

“We particularly want to hear from apprentices. There are many in South Essex that are helping our businesses to thrive.
