Love Island star joins Portsmouth Christmas pantomime Brighton News

A former Love Island contestant is taking part in a Christmas pantomime this year.

Amy Hart, who was born in Worthing, will perform at the King’s Theater in Albert Road, Portsmouth. She will make her professional debut in Jack and the Beanstalk where she will play the role of Princess Jill.

After rising to fame after appearing in season five of ITV’s Love Island, Amy will be joined by Sean Smith, an X Factor finalist and half of Same Difference as well as Portsmouth pantomime regulars Jack Edwards, James Percy, Julia Worsley, Marlene Little Hill and Peter McCrohon.

Amy said: “Theater is my absolute passion, and pantomime is something I grew up with, so I’m really excited to be doing my first professional show after Love Island.

“The King’s Theater is absolutely beautiful, and I was so blown away when I first arrived here. There is so much history, and I can’t wait to perform on stage as part of a pantomime family. . ”

A former flight attendant, Amy has always been an avid performer, and after leaving Love Island, she appeared on magazines and TV shows like Loose Women and Good Morning Britain.

She has also performed on the industry’s red carpet while managing an Instagram account with 1.1 million followers.

Paul Woolf, General Manager of Kings Theater, said: “I am delighted to welcome Amy to our Pompey Panto family.

“With an incredible passion for theater and the performing arts combined with a fantastic and contagious personality, she will be a real hit with our audience and someone who will fit in well with our cast.

“Last year’s pantomime was incredibly special for so many reasons and will be remembered for a long time to come. I’m so glad we get the gang reunited, and Amy is a fantastic addition to that.”

Jack and the Beanstalk is produced in-house by the King’s Theater. The show will take place from 21 November to 2 January next year with tickets starting at £ 18.
