Gareth Southgate named third most attractive Euro manager Brighton News

THE MOST attractive manager of Euro 2020 has been chosen by the fans – England boss Gareth Southgate has failed to dominate this particular group.

A survey found that Italy’s fashionable head coach Roberto Mancini, 56, was ranked most handsome with 23% of the vote, followed by Spain boss Luis Enrique, 51, with 14 %.

The Crawley-born England boss took third place with 14% of the vote as fans “fell in love with Southgate’s charming look, sleek appearance and infectious smile”.

This means that he has already passed German boss Joachim Low who finished in ninth place in the survey conducted by BonusFinder.com.

Spokesman Fintan Costello said: “Gareth Southgate may not be wearing the vest yet, but he still looks rather dapper compared to other coaches.

“There is a mix of styles with Joachim Löw always so relaxed with the Spaniard Luis Enrique.

“Poor Steve Clarke barely seems to register, but the same can be said of most other managers.”

The study comes as Southgate took the Three Lions to the top of Group D after beating the Czech Republic.

England will now face Low’s German side in the round of 16 on Tuesday 29 June.

The study found that fans love to see managers as they walk around the tech area.

The rest of the top five was made up of 44-year-old Ukrainian Andriy Shevchenko, who finished fourth with 11 percent.

Fifth place went to Zlatko Dalić, who leads Croatia.

He obtained 8.1% of the vote.

Unfortunately for Scotland, who have already been knocked out of the competition, less than one percent of 2,000 fans thought Scotland boss Steve Clarke was handsome.
