Lowry to go under the hammer at Bedford auction house with indicative price of £ 3,000 Bedford News

A colorful reproduction of an LS Lowry painting is just one of many items auctioned at Peacocks in Bedford on Friday.

Famous for his paintings of matchstick men, the color reproduction of The Family bears a Fine Art Guild dry stamp and is signed in ink.

It is estimated to cost between £ 2,500 and £ 3,000.

This is one of many items included in the well-established auction house’s upcoming sale at Eastcotts Park, Wallis Way, on Friday, July 2.

A “Paris” armchair upholstered in mahogany and beige leather with scrolled armrests also goes under the hammer. It is estimated to be priced between £ 150 and £ 200.

There is also a collection of tartan clothing including a suit, two kilts for men, two kilts for women, a black waistcoat and jacket, a tweed jacket and three pants. This lot has an estimated price of between £ 200 and £ 300.
