Chris Eubank Jr pays tribute after the death of his brother Sebastian Brighton News

CHRIS Eubank Jr paid a moving tribute to his brother Sebastian, who died days before his 30th birthday.

Sebastian, 29, had recently become a dad for the first time and was living in Dubai.

Brother Chris Eubank Jr said, “I haven’t cried since I was 12… yesterday I cried all day.

“I’m sorry I wasn’t there to watch your back like a big brother is supposed to.

“I can’t believe you’re really gone man, but you will always be on my heart, my mind and my mind.

“Now your inheritance will live on through your beautiful newborn son and I will treat him like mine.

“Watch over us until we meet the young lion again.

“And to everyone reading this right now, don’t take any of your loved ones for granted.

“See them, talk to them, check them out as much as you can because you never know if this time will be the last.

“I love you, my brother.”

Sebastian, the third eldest child of Eubank Snr, is survived by his wife Salma and son Raheem, born a month ago.

Sebastian was found dead on the beach after drowning, reports The Sun.

He had fought twice as a professional boxer, winning both fights on points.

Argus:

His last fight was in March 2019 and at the time of his death was working as a personal trainer in Dubai.

In 2003, Sebastian appeared in At Home With The Eubanks on Channel Five.

Father Chris Eubank Sr. said, “I never imagined that I would write these words or feel the feeling I now have of the loss of my son.

“My family and I are devastated to learn of Sebastian’s passing days before what would have been his 30th birthday.

“Sebastian grew up in Hove, England, but in recent years he has made his living in Dubai where he had a large circle of friends and was a leader in adopting a healthy lifestyle and alternative therapies.

“Sebastian was also a deep thinker who liked to challenge accepted wisdom.

Argus:

“He was loved and respected by all who knew him and will forever be remembered by his friends and family.

“As a family, we now kindly ask for space and privacy to celebrate your life and remember the son, brother, husband, friend.”
