Euro 2020 final invader appeared on talent show Little Mix The Search UK News

The man who made headlines across the world after taking the pitch in Sunday’s Euro 2020 final has already had contact with fame on Little Mix’s talent show The Search.

Several stewards had to take action as Adam Harison ran onto the pitch at Wembley in England’s second half against Italy before the Italians triumphed on penalties after the score remained at 1 -1 after extra time.

Seeming to be proud of his actions, Harison took to Instagram to post pictures of himself being accosted by my match officials, writing: “In the end… I love my country and I did. all for a good time. Nothing but love and respect for England tonight. BIG LOVE PEOPLE “

His Sunday night notoriety wasn’t Harison’s first TV appearance as he appeared on Little Mix’s BBC series The Search last year as a member of New Priority.

He captured scenes from Wembley on his Instagram Story, seen by his over 40,000 followers and shared a post about his invasion, writing: “Well that was fun.”

Harison’s actions have been widely condemned on social media, with one Instagram user responding to his photos writing, “The things these z-lists do to get some attention,” and another comment: You think is it really funny?

After an incredible start thanks to a goal from Luke Shaw, Sunday’s final ended with England losing on penalties as Jadon Sancho, Marcus Rashford and Bukayo Saka missed their shots on goal.

The BBC and ITV devoted more than four hours of programming to the match, but some viewers complained that they should have spent even more time preparing for the match.
