Woman sexually assaulted on Hastings Street – wanted witnesses Brighton News

POLICE calls for witnesses following sexual assault.

A 27-year-old woman was assaulted in Robertson Terrace at the junction with the A259, near some red and / or white shelters at around 2:20 a.m. on Saturday, August 21.

Police said the victim encountered the suspect earlier that night and they walked along Havelock Road together towards the waterfront and turned right towards where the assault took place.

After a fight, the man fled in the direction of the pier.

The suspect had said his name was Ryan and that he is described as being white, standing around 21.5 feet 8 inches, with dark brown hair worn in a small bun and clean shaven.

He wore a black t-shirt, black skinny jeans and black / white sneakers, and had a tattoo on his right forearm.

Detective Constable Nick Arthur of Hastings said: “We are looking for any information that will help us identify and locate this man.

“If you were in the area at the time and saw anything suspicious, or think you know who Ryan is, please contact us online or by calling 101, quoting serial number 228 from the 08/21. ”
