A hut resembling Hagrid’s Refuge has been listed as one of the UK’s most unusual places – and it’s a short walk from Watford.
The family glamping retreat on North Hill Farm, Chorleywood, is adorned with nods to the Harry Potter series as well as natural stone floors and a conical roof.
Host Unusual, which lists the most unique accommodations in the country, says there is a huge drum bath, a soft-lit wood stove, and flickering lanterns that add to its charm.
Perfect for a half-giant recluse gamekeeper or for wizarding fans wanting a getaway, the hut is 15 minutes from Warner Bros. Harry Potter Studios in Leavesden.

Set in a rustic setting, it also has a kitchen equipped with the essentials – fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster – as well as a “bucket head shower”.
It can accommodate up to five people with a king size double bed, a single bed and a bunk bed.
There is a minimum booking of two nights on weekends, with small surcharges for each additional person.
