Summer is making a much-needed comeback with a mini heatwave UK News

Summer makes a well-deserved comeback next week with a mini heatwave – forecasters say.

Temperatures are expected to reach 26 degrees by the middle of the week, which is perfect for barbecues and trips to the coast.

Monday is expected to be 25 degrees with lots of sun and light winds over Watford, with moderate levels of pollen and UV.

And the mercury will continue to rise as it will reach 26 degrees for Tuesday and Wednesday with a gentle breeze and lots of sun Wednesday.

Weather experts also say Thursday will also see hot weather with 24 degrees expected.

It will be running by Friday with rain expected but still a hot 23 degree day as well.

The city will also experience a bright weekend, with a cloudy but mostly dry start to Saturday.

Sunday will “stay dry with warm sunny spells,” according to the Met Office.

Forecasters said September could see “more rain and wind” than August.

Parts of the UK experienced unusual amounts of precipitation for the season over the summer.

The colder conditions caused “significant problems” for crops in the southeast, according to the National Farmers Union.

But the warmer weather could also lead to thunderstorms, forecasters warned.
