Camden Town Brewery’s New Festive Beer Bedford News

It’s that time of year again! The Camden team worked on another year-end beer to celebrate the last twelve months of brewing.

It’s safe to say we had a busy business: we opened our new Beer Hall, made pubjamas (yes, pajamas you can wear in the pub) and ‘accidentally’ pasteurized a few of our precious Hells cans. . Let’s not forget the collaboration with our friends from Marmite.

Each year we commemorate the year in the best possible way. It’s by brewing a new limited edition beer that makes our lager lovers happy.

We love to push the boundaries of what a lager can be. This is done by experimenting with different flavors and brewing styles until we can find the next creation.

For the past five years, we’ve brewed an Imperial Pilsner style barrel aged beer for the ultimate flavor. This year we brought it back with a twist.

Introducing Beer 2021 – an Imperial, Pilsner brewed with fruity hops in a combination of wine and brandy barrels. This maximizes the truly unique taste – intrigued?

We chose to age this festive beer in these casks because they are renowned for their rich apricot and almond flavors. This gives our never-pasteurized beer sweetness and depth.

Pair it with your favorite cheese. The stronger the better, to balance the unique flavors of beer. Or if you’re more of a foodie, pair it with your after-dinner treat for a sensational taste.
