About £100 was stolen from a store in a burglary at Potters Bar.
Hertfordshire Constabulary said someone broke into a shop in Mutton Lane at around 4.15am on Friday March 4.
They smashed a window before withdrawing around £100 from a till, police said.
Police have now released a CCTV image of a man they would like to identify and speak to.
PC Emma Gower, who is investigating, said: ‘I would like to hear from anyone who witnessed this incident, has any information about it or recognizes the person in the image who was in the area at the time.
“While the person’s face is partially covered in the image, someone can recognize their clothing and build and could help us identify them.”
