POLICE have been called to the scene of a motorcycle accident on a busy road.
Sussex Police officers closed Beacon Road, Ditchling, following an accident involving a motorbike and a bicycle.
A police spokesperson said: ‘Ditchling Beach, Brighton to Ditchling, is currently closed due to an accident.
“Please use alternate routes. We have deployed a drone to take aerial photos of the scene to assist in the investigation.
An AA traffic update said: ‘Road closed and slow traffic due to crash, motorbike and bicycle involved on Beacon Road in both directions between Underhill Lane and Ditchling Beacon Car Park.
“The accident happened around 11:50 a.m. with the closure of the winding road through the beacon.”
