PS5 restocking on Amazon this week – when to buy yours UK News

After its release in November, Britons found it almost impossible to find Sony’s latest game console.

But UK gamers have been given hope with rumors that there could be a PS5 restock on Amazon as soon as tomorrow.

The new consoles are expected to go on sale Wednesday between 8am and 9:30am.

PS5 Stock UK (@PS5StockAlertUK) said: “The last time Amazon UK restocked the PlayStation 5 Disc Edition and Digital Edition consoles was March 23, at around 08:27.

“Wednesdays are usually when Amazon prefers to drop PS5 consoles in the UK based on previous stock drops, although they have dropped on Tuesday mornings before.

“Our bet remains Wednesday as it has been Amazon’s pick drop day consistently for the past few months.

“Therefore, we can expect an Amazon UK PS5 restock this Wednesday, April 20, between 08:00 and 09:30.”

Whenever a new stock lands, it is picked up within seconds and often sells out within a minute.

Demand has been so strong that many retailers have introduced new rules to prevent resellers from taking advantage of the system for profit.

A Game spokesperson said: “PlayStation 5s continue to be in high demand and that demand far exceeds the current supply.

“We have robust measures in place to ensure our ‘1 per customer’ statement is maintained to enable as many individual customers as possible to purchase successfully.

“All pre-orders are subject to automatic checks.

“Order updates occur after a customer receives a valid order confirmation email.

“At this time, these orders are still pre-orders and as such, no payment has yet been taken from customers.

“Payments will begin once our order verifications have been completed.”
