Parking restrictions to be introduced on the roads in Barnet UK News

Parking restrictions are expected to be imposed on a number of Barnet roads.

Notice from the London Borough of Barnet in this week’s edition of Barnet Borough Times outline the proposals that will come into effect early next month, including new double yellow lines in some streets.

The ordinances are introduced because “it is considered that certain sections of public road must be kept away from parked vehicles to ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians, to avoid obstructing parking and to allow adequate traffic”.

The orders will have the effect of introducing new waiting restrictions or making them official.

From Monday May 3:

A length of “anytime” waiting restrictions at (A5) Stonegrove near its junction with Lacey Drive will be formalized.

A term of “anytime” restrictions outside the entrance to the new Barnet Leisure Center on Lawton Road will be formalized.

The lengths of the “anytime” restrictions at South Road between # 8 and # 14 will be formalized.

The durations of the restrictions from Monday to Friday 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. outside and in front of No.1 to No.12 Norfolk Close will be finalized.

A period of “anytime” restrictions outside of Nos. 103 to 109 Mays Lane will be formalized.

The ordinance will also formalize the removal of the length of the ‘anytime’ waiting restrictions outside and across from No.45 Brookhill Road to accommodate a new crosswalk, and introduce a new length of restrictions. “ at any time ” outside n ° 2 at No 4 Chemin Sud.

In addition, from Tuesday May 4:

“Anytime” length restrictions will be introduced on Frith Lane at the new access road for the Millbrook Park development.

An “anytime” length restriction on Linden Road at its junction with Thornedene Road will be formalized.

An “anytime” length restriction on Pine Road at its junction with Thornedene Road will be formalized.

An “at any time” length restriction will be introduced on Prevost Road at its junction with Thornedene Road.
