London Underground: partial suspension of the Metropolitan line UK News

Travelers are facing disruption this morning as the London Underground’s Metropolitan line faces disruption.

The line is partially suspended with no service between Rickmansworth and Amersham/Chesham due to the temporary unavailability of control room staff.

However, Transport for London said all London Underground tickets facing disruption will be accepted on local bus services.

Additionally, part of the Northern Line remains closed between Moorgate and Kennington while major upgrades take place.

But you can take London Buses Route 733 which connects Moorgate to Oval via Bank, London Bridge, Borough, Elephant & Castle and Kennington.

Elsewhere on rail services across London, some services may be affected during the day as RMT union members protest.

Union members are striking outside train stations for fear of the impact the job cuts could have on services and safety.
